Tutorials – Lexington Healing Arts Academy offers students the ability to schedule a tutorial which provides personalized attention from academic experts. Students can meet privately or in a small group to discuss course materials, ask questions, and get feedback on their work.

Massage Practice Opportunities –No need to purchase a massage table during school. Being aware of time and financial restraint, we offer students the opportunity to reserve a classroom to practice massaging on classmates, friends and family. There is no cost for students to practice and practice makes perfect!

Massage Table Rentals Students –Allowing you to access high-quality massage tables without the upfront cost of purchasing, LHAA encourages students to practice by renting a table from the school at $10 a day or $20 a weekend.

Free Ethics CE class – LHAA takes great pride in our ethical standards of students, faculty and staff. Massage Therapists in Kentucky must complete 12 hours of continuing education (CE) every two years to renew their license. At least three (3) of those hours must be in Ethics. The school offers this class, at no cost, every year to our alumni.

Emergency Student Fund – Through the kind donations of our clients in the massage clinic, this fund is available to help qualifying students in need of emergency financial help.

Kate’s Pantry – The pantry has items that faculty, staff, students and employers have donated to. This community space provides food, hygiene and household items to any students that request them.

Community Garden – We are a family at LHAA and have created a beautiful community garden for our students to enjoy. It includes vegetables, spices, flowers, picnic table and outdoor seating.

Free Yoga classes – Peace and tranquility is part of our philosophy. Any active student is welcome to take our yoga classes at no cost in our beautiful, spacious yoga studio.

Workshops Discounts – LHAA offers therapeutic personal development services including Couple Massage, Reiki, Yin Yoga Immersion, Mediation, and more at a discount to our students and graduates.

Massage Therapy Clinic Discounts – To let our students or graduates know how much we appreciate them, they will receive a discount on services and products.

Scholarship Opportunities – We are aware that some of our students need assistance paying for school. Scholarships are financial support, awarded to student(s) based on academic achievement or other criteria. Scholarship application are available to all active students and is awarded several times a year.

Veterans’ Affairs (VA) – LHAA appreciates your service and sacrifice. VA is a federal agency that provides educational benefits to veterans, service members, and their families to pay for college for our day and evening classes.

Vocational Rehabilitation (VOC Rehab) – VOC Rehab considers incoming and current students of LHAA as individuals entering or re-entering into employment. They provide opportunities and services to eligible students with disabilities by assisting with some of the cost of their education.

Free Transcript Equation – Equation is to determine the equivalence of a foreign transcript to a US education and can be expensive. Once the transcript has been translated, we offer to equate that at no cost to the student, through our Registrar.

Complimentary Coaching Sessions – We want our students to be successful by offering a very unique opportunity to have several one-on-one sessions with a professional in the field and receive feedback. These professionals are Licensed Massage Practitioners (LMP) and are often LHAA instructors. These sessions are offered at no cost to the students at the school.

Annual Alumni Reunion –We are a family at LHAA and look forward to seeing some of the 1400 alumni that has graduated with us over the last 25 years at our alumni reunion! We celebrate that day with games, food, photo booths and teach them their required Ethics continuing education class at no cost.

Discounted Continuing Education –The school has been a leader in teaching continuing education (CE) for 25 years in the community and offers a wide variety of classes. Because we support our alumni in their careers as a massage therapist, we offer a discount to them to further their education in the field.

We have a dedicated Career Service Coordinator that meets with incoming students, current students, and alumni to assist them in finding a job in their located area and into a modality of their choice. We have spent 25 years creating and keeping healthy relationships with employers in the Lexington area and the surrounding areas to support our alumni.
