Alumni Reunion – Free for Alumni

Do you struggle with setting a cancellation policy and enforcing it? What about charging a fair hourly rate based on your experience and training and not feeling guilty?

These are some of the concepts we will be discussing in this course. The concepts of culture and class attitudes and the biases which develop can prevent us from setting healthy boundaries in our Massage Therapy practice. After taking this course, the learner will be able to:

• Recognize learned barriers to setting healthy policies in a Massage Therapy setting
• Understand how different attitudes towards finances and money may hold us back from communicating clearly with our clients
• Communicating clearly and professionally with clients regarding enforcing policies around payments
• Learning to set a fair price without undervaluing your services based on your experience and training

Ann Boone, LMT
Ann is a graduate of the Lexington Healing Arts Academy 2003. Ann has special training in Neuromuscular Techniques for cervical injuries and Trigger Point training. For over 10 years she has had a full-time private massage practice specializing in deep tissue, Neuromuscular/Trigger Point therapies, Prenatal/Postpartum Massage, Sports Massage, and Active Isolated Stretching. She is currently teaching Ethics and Kinesiology.
