Ethical Decision Making
Ethics of Money: Why we make the Financial Decisions we do in the Massage Therapy setting
Alumni Reunion – Free for Alumni
Do you struggle with setting a cancellation policy and enforcing it? What about charging a fair hourly rate based on your experience and training and not feeling guilty?
These are some of the concepts we will be discussing in this course. The concepts of culture and class attitudes and the biases which develop can prevent us from setting healthy boundaries in our Massage Therapy practice. After taking this course, the learner will be able to:
- Recognize learned barriers to setting healthy policies in a Massage Therapy setting
- Understand how different attitudes towards finances and money may hold us back from communicating clearly with our clients
- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients regarding enforcing policies around payments
- Learning to set a fair price without undervaluing your services based on your experience and training
